The Rotary Club of Sharpstown has had a number of events at Pier 61. These have ranged from a social evening for members and family (about 35 -40 people) to a special Wine Tasting, Dinner and Silent Auction at Pier 61 that was a event for 62 people.

The Horizon Business Network has had several socials with members and family at Pier 61. These are usually events with 25 to 30 in attendance.
